Polish, Chinese and Russian are just some of the festivals I'd gone along to try out. Best of all, GFT is the main venue for the growing International Film Festival that bursts onto Glasgow's screens early each year. This is a BIG DEAL, bringing real A-Listers to Glasgow! I also love going to see oldies too, as well as daring and challenging new movies. What tould Christmas be without 'Its A Wonderful Life'? A while back I took a friend to see a couple of Hitchcock masterpieces. He's seen neither, which seems like it should be illegal... We saw 'North by Northwest' and 'Vertigo'. I think Vertigo is my favourite, but only by a whisker. James Stewart plays a cop who is not just near the edge - he's dangling OVER it! Magic on the big screen, all thanks to GFT.
