O2 ABCFor Super-cool Concerts, in a Setting that Rocks into the Night
 O2 ABC Glasgow rose like a phoenix from the old ABC cinema on Sauchiehall Street. Just like the huge old cinema with its many screens, so the new ABC has separate bars and performance spaces The main hall can hold up to 1,250 fans, while the more intimate ABC1 can take just 350. Funky bands and those just starting to make a name for themselves often appear at O2 ABC. This includes bands from abroad, such as the lovely Nouvelle Vague. Bright and breezy, yet with a hip edge, O2 ABC always feels right. Have a drink in the bar, then wander through to see your band on stage. Or maybe comedy suits you more? Now and again it plays host to funny men and women. During the annual International Comedy Festival, O2 ABC resounds to hoots and guffaws from happy audiences...
