Lovely and unusual, I find its a great place for picking up something just that little bit unusual. You know what I mean - you're invited to a dinner party, and the hostess is Glasgow's version of Nigella Lawson ;) What can you take to impress? Visit Kember & Jones for a book with an unusual take on Italian cooking, or a bottle of exquisite olive oil in a very pretty bottle. Just right! He claims his liking for a great cup of coffee started then. This might seem like a tall story, what with rationing and everything else. But I can't deny that he really DOES know what makes a great cup of coffee. When he comes over to the West End, we always go for a stroll (at his pace!) to Kember & Jones. He has a smile on his face all day after that, full of the Kember & Jones caffeine fix! He's a star, and so is Kember & Jones. I LOVE this wee place so much because its just right for a freshly baked treat and cup of gorgeous strong coffee. Sometimes tables can be hard to come by... but that's a good thing, cause it shows how popular it is. There's always plenty going on.
