all booked up? - uncover the very best pre theatre ideas to eat, drink, see and stay near
King Tut's ![]() King Tut's Wah Wah Hut has something different doing on. Well known for supporting new and emerging bands, you never know what future superstar acts will be on stage when you visit. First open in February 1990, this small, edgy venue was named after a venue of the same sort in New York City. Just a few of the bands making a break in King Tut's have been Travis, Suede, Manic Street Preachers, The Verve, Radiohead and Oasis. Easy to miss, nestled in a basement spot on busy St Vincent Street, King Tut's Wah Wah Hut goes from strength to strength. With room for only 300 guests, it has become known as one of the best places for new talent to be recognised. In fact, Radio 1 stated King Tut's 'Best Launch Pad Venue 2000', and 'UK's Best Live Venue' in 2002. Time to head over and find out what the fuss is about... ![]() Get the VIP Buzz...
