Kibble PalaceA Grand Statement in Glass, Home to Gorgeous Exotic Plants
Kibble Palace started life in the Coulport home of John Kibble in 1865. It was moved to Glasgow's botanic garden in 1873, and remains one of the city's most loved sites. It was restored, opening again on St Andrew's Day (30 November) 2006. Kibble Palace is perfect for a stroll, any time of year. Housing a gorgeous range of exotic plants, the perfect light in the place means life abounds, even in the middle of winter. Kids love looking at the fish in the pond near the entrance. And the statues around the glass house bring yet more peace and quiet to this grand building. Concerts, readings and talks take place in Kibble Palace. These events bring in even more people to enjoy our perfect west end icon.
Kibble Palace does not offer any booking services that we know. You can always contact them to check.
