for yet another drink, with outside tables an option before or after guzzling the great imported Belgian beers here is...
and we love it because they make sure there are plenty of tables out on the Vinicombe Street pavement, letting punters take it easy and enjoy their interesting and classic cocktails while watching this busy part of the West End go about its business.
[Walk to Byres Road and turn right. Stay on this side of the road, and Vinicombe Street appears after two blocks. You'll see Booly Mardy on the left.]
... so do you want to know what's keeping those 'in-the-know' folks talking about Brel?
It's... how fit the wait staff must be! Working the restaurant, conservatory area and the beer garden out back, plates have to be taken up to the kitchen on the first floor... not for the faint of heart (or faint of knees, for that matter!)

and we love it because their beer garden is in its very own leafy West End nook, beside the stately bulk of the grand restored church that is its' home.
Add to this the fab barbeque on summer weekends, and you'll understand why locals love Cottiers so much.
[From Brel, head to Byres Road and turn left. At the first junction turn right, up Highburgh Road. After three blocks you'll see Cottiers steeple through the trees on the left. In you go and have fun.]
