 Braehead Arena is a wonderful thing. A mere 10 minutes along the M8 from the city centre, this custom built stadium has it all going on. Fancy some skating, on an Olympic size rink that has 4,000 spectator seats? You've come to the right place! An indoor downhill ski-slope is there for the taking as well. Amazing... The stadium has room for more than 5,000 guests, and features huge sporting events at international level. So hockey, soccer and wrestling federation events often take place here. Other areas include theatre space, allowing The Singing Kettle to keep the kids happy, for example. Even Beyonce and Oasis have graced the stage here, showing how high the quality of the concerts are. Top stuff, on the outskirts of Glasgow.
