Glasgow city fathers took a very generous line to its bulging art collections. They decreed that, owned by "The People" they should be freely open to "The People".

And so they are. Not just the people of Glasgow, though, but their guests too. So every permanent public collection of art and treasures in Glasgow is completely, totally and fabulously free.

Don't squander it. Get on down to a museum or collection next time you have a spare hour or two.
